IBM Think has thus far proven to be a successful venture. Sunday was the IBM Champion Day. I cannot say enough great things to Libby Ingrassia for all she and her team are doing to make this program reach great heights. Caught up with old friends, made some new ones and learned some good information in the break outs.
Monday was a busy, busy day. My coworker Alan Forbes did a presentation where he did a deep dive into the DB2 stuff under Connections and showed how you can discover meaningful metrics with regards to who is creating content in the system. This information can be leveraged in order to highlight your Connections evangelists and get others involved with using the technology.
Tuesday has thus far been my favorite day. Attended three sessions centered on Domino 10. When I am back in the office next week, I will write more on what 10 will bring to the table. For now, I want to share that IBM has truly renewed their investment in the platform, making it exciting again. Walking out of a session, I was handed a card holder. The picture below is the card holder….. and it is not blue…. could we be getting ready to “bleed yellow” once again? Definitely exciting times and I am salivating to see the 10 beta next month.
