VitalSigns Alerts & Notifications
You can create alert definitions to receive a variety of alerts (i.e. dead mail, not responding, disk space low, etc.) pertaining to the overall status of your environment.
IT Managers can configure alerting options such as: Advanced Alerting, Persistent Alerts, Alert Limits and SNMP Listeners from the Alert Settings page. Email Alerting, SMS/Text Alerting and Recurring Alert Options can also be configured with the Alert Settings page.
All scripts and commands can be managed from the Alerts Scripts page where IT managers can add new scripts, edit existing scripts as well as delete existing scripts.
The Alerts History page provides a detailed view of all alerts that were created, sent, and cleared. The Notification Sent Date indicates when the alert was sent (if applicable) and the Event Dismissed Date indicates when the alert/issue was resolved.
